We would like to thank everyone who worked, donated, bought tickets, or helped in any way with the benefit social and raffle which was held to raise funds for the oxygen concentrator for the communities of Lundar and Eriksdale.
Thank you to the Lundar Legion Br 185 for the use of their hall, the Jammers for the wonderful music, to the generous businesses and friends who provided the 23 Rainbow Auction items, to all who bought tickets for the social, to Interlake Co-op Eriksdale, Eriksdale Shop Easy, G & E Cash Store, Stevensons Foods for the trays of food, to all the bakers, and all who worked at the evening. Including a donation from the RM of Coldwell and an anonymous donation of $50.00 we raised $1426.00.
Also thank you to McMunn and Yates, Lundar Garage & NAPA and anonymous for the items for the raffle. In order to raise the $500.00 sale of all the 50 books the draw was done by CIBC workers and a member of the municipal office on August 19th. Winners were Kiddie Bench - Ken Olafson; 204 piece Power Drill and Bit Set - Trina Lussier and the Lazer Level Kit - Eileen Andrews. Thanks to all for their patience and for purchasing tickets.
Both these events were held totally expense free - all was donated. The oxygen concentrator will stay in the communities of Lundar and Eriksdale for those who require its use and cannot afford the enormous cost that is involved in its purchase.
